Re: Plugin Ideas Hiya. I'm a relativly new DB user (WadAuthor previously), and there are a few things I'd like to see in DB. Figured I'd just toss them out there to see if any programming wizards out there care to "whip 'em up"... - Sector Motifs (be able to choose the look...lighting, wall/ceiling, up/mid/low sidedef textures... and save in a list; for sectors, doors, lifts)
- Set Lindef Length (sets the selected linedef's length to a certain amount; can choose "From Vertex", "To Vertex" or "Center")
- Make Linedefs Parallel (makes the first lindef selected parallel with the second lindef; distance between is chosen as well)
- Rotate Sector (ability to rotate a sector a certain number of degrees; rotation center could be "Center" or "Vertex", as selected)
- Make Sector Door (basically turns a sector into a 'normal' door...move ceiling down, set sides to LowerUnpegged, sets front/back to Door Raise, for example)
Anyway, I like a lot of WadAuthor. If I could just get a perfect "DoomAuthor" or "WadBuilder" mish-mash I'd be in heaven! :)

Make Sector Door is already in. Check the key bindings in the settings to assign your favourite key to the function. :)
